Denver & Rio Grande Western K-28 mikado #478, one of the 3 still in use today on the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad in Colorado. The other 7 engines of this class, requisitioned by the Army, were used on the WP&YR and scrapped right after World War II.
